Brittany Robinson is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. She is an arising entrepreneur and incredible visionary. Her duty is to impact the lives around her through community outreach programs and organizations, such as her own. She is the founder of Color Me Brown, a non-profit organization that is created to empower women to live healthier lives where she increases the importance of self-esteem. She used her own unique story and personal life experiences to build her platform BRITTMONE’T, a blog where her thoughts, ideas, and creativity is brought to life.
Before Brittany embarked upon her own journey she served as the Program Instructor for The Boys and Girls Club in her home city. She took advantage of her leadership role and used that time to build long-lasting relationships with students through mentorship. Brittany became a Teacher’s Assistant at Gary Roads Elementary in Byram, MS. She enjoyed helping students with their educational needs that promoted them to the next grade level.
Brittany took out the time to explore different careers before she actually allowed her passion to meet the gift of her purpose. While working eight years as a property manager, she still managed to do community service projects. She was able to reach out to different shelters and food banks to help the residence in her local community. Her resilience has built her confidence as a young professional and it gives her the ability to influence change around her because of her perseverance.
Her brilliance and astonishing personality will continue to be an amazing contribution to society, especially women of color because she knows many women live in this false pretense of true beauty. Brittany’s ambition to succeed is zealous. As a single mother, an expressive artist, and career woman she uses her gifts and talents to ensure that her passion is measurable to her purpose and that what makes her empowering.
